Over the last few days, there has been a big rumor circulating throughout baseball that through waivers Mike Piazza may be traded.  The most likely destination for Piazza may be the Minnesota Twins.  The Twins, who like the rest of the AL Central, didn't do anything to improve at the trade deadline, may be looking for a waiver trade before the end of August. 

However, according to FOX Sports, Piazza only wants to play on either coast and the A's may not trade Piazza against his will.  Twins insiders continue to say that Piazza would probably not accept a deal there.  So, as of now it may look like the Twins is an unlikely destination, but don't rule out Piazza being traded somewhere else.
