Hideki Okajima was voted in by the fans to take the last spot in the all-star game.  Okajima will become the 6th Red Sox to represent the AL this year, along with his bullpen mate Jonathan Papelbon.  Okajima received a nice ovation from the Fenway Faithful when it was announced there on Thursday Night.  Chris Young was picked in the NL.

This is excellent for Okajima.  He deserves to be in San Francisco, as he has been by far the best set-up man in all of baseball this season.  It will be fun to see him there with Papelbon, despite whether or not he gets in the game.  Congratulations buddy!
